Things you don't want to say to a friend

Had a quick chat with my mate Greg, it's even worse that I can remember... Anna walked in - so I'll call her tonight and apologise, I've got no bloody clue what to say yet and I feel really awful. Any tips how to make "I'm sorry I brought this tosser around yours and fucked him in your bed" sound acceptable?
